SS-Dienstauszeichnung 3.Stufe (8 Jahre) - Another one - looks legit?

This is a different one than the two others I asked about in another thread....to keep it less confusing I started this as a new thread respective of this medal under review. To my eye it looks much better and closer to the reference/known legit ones...does anyone agree or disagree?:

In keeping with the organization of the forum, I have renamed your threads, separated the different medals so there is only one per thread, and moved them to the correct section of the forum.
As these are awards, they belong in the Orders and Decorations section of the forum.
They are not part of the uniform, or insignia.
The Use of German Terminology.

P.S. You really should ask for straight on, front and reverse photos.

Ralph....Thank you...sorry about that - I'm a noob and still learning the ropes- I have front & back dead on photos but hadto convert them as were are not in a jpg format. I updated my post to include them.

It looks like a good "type 2" unmarked example by penz and lorenz

IMO not a good one .The lettering is to soft and edges are to rounded , the outer edge has double and triple ridges in some areas and the ss runes in bottom of the 8 are very sloppy . Not one for me . Please wait for other comments .
