With difficulty Ado. Big Ned is good at identifying the two types but I just use the ribbon at the bottom of the wreath as a pointer.
I only have an old 4 year that I have had for quite a number of years and it's not really a medal I would seek out unless it was in a vet bundle.

Hello Ado it is the same maker as the one you bought with all the black paint rubbed off...Pretty much the same shape as the one I have.
I remember getting mine as a child and then rubbing the black paint off to make it look like an 8 year medal!!

Save your money for something better
