Hello,
In my humble opinion this one is a fake. Quite a good one as it looks to be based on the P&L design
It does not have the attributes that are considered to be a good example.

Well Halo,
on the medal that you presented it immediately stands out as a reproduction. The reasons below are just pointers.

The Ribbon teardrop is welded in the middle. It should be welded at the narrow part of the ring.
The jump ring (the ring that the teardrop mounts in to) is round. This is typical of a Souval post war example. It should be chamfered on both sides.
