Can I please get opinions on this medal? Is it authentic? Any approximate value estimates?

I think it's the correct ribbon but faded, maybe the medal was displayed in strong sunlight or as i said before the colour settings on the camera may be out.

As others have said, this is an original example. The ribbon is orange, not red. I am moving this to the Orders and Medals Forum where it will likely receive further comments.
