    Default U-Boat clasp in bronze

    Guys,

Got the frame open so I thought I would post this as it is not brought out often.

Late war, as it was instituted late, zinc with a magnetic pin.

Photos with and without flash just to try and get the detail, it is amazing how different it looks in the light/flash.

    Ade,

No probs, by the way I got it from Brian the brain on Bentink Rd, Hyson Green. When I was back last month for my daughters wedding I went to visit but he has saddly joined Mike Long or so the neighbouring shop said?

From Brian! Small world. I used to go to his shop most weekends in the old days back in the 1970'/80's. I did not know he had passed away? Very sad. The shop was only open now and again this past 10 years or more.

    Cheers, Ade.

Again his shop went in the late 1980's, but Ralph is still around. I see him at shows now and again.

    Cheers, Ade.
