I have re-named your thread,

and moved it to the correct section of this forum.

I believe that this is a good zinc badge, unmarked Steinhauer & Luck. These are listed under 1.34 in Weber / Skora. The upwards curve of the bow is very distinctive.
There are other examples on the Web too.
Of course wait for other opinions also.

Thanks Ralph and many thanks houndstooth , value your help as I'm obviously new to this forum
I've edited my post - pretty sure this is S&L badge.
Amongst other knowledgeable people look out for Norm and Martin who study KM badges extensively.

Ok thankyou very much
Is this distinction to their design as it has no markings which did concern me when I decided to buy it , I generally don't normally buy badges or medals but it took my eye as a nice item
Yes, many badges don't have a rear mark. My u boat badge is an unmarked Deumer. These particular S&L u boat badges are like this.

I agree with the comments by HoundsTooth.
This looks like a good Steinhauer & Luck zinc award.
Cheers,Martin.
Appreciate all of your comments, could you tell me why it was awarded and I have seen there are different grades of this award ( bronze , zinc , etc ) if you could explain for me , thank you all
