Since I did not have any family members in the Kriegsmarine, I do not really collect the awards for this part of the TR era.
However, since I ended up with an Officer's Dagger, I am slowly collecting a few items so that I am able to display them similar to the way I do with my other items. Unfortunately, the pin has been broken. The price reflected this and I could not pass it up. Maybe one day I will find a pin and replace it.
Ralph.

Yes Ralph I must say it looks jolly nice, & the pin well unless you are going to wear down your local pub I wouldn't worry about that & like Adrian says who looks at the back??....lol. Cheers Terry
Broken pin or not, it's still a good original piece and you don't display the reverse side anyhow!
Thanks Adrian!
I know, it's just that I don't usually buy items in this condition. I have one or two others with broken pins but am trying not to.
