Hi Snowman, it is not one that I have seen before. Personally I would say it is a fake as the hinge is like nothing I have ever seen and the proportions of the badge itself seem to be unlike any maker I have seen. Leon.

I have just had a "rummage" through my books and found a very similar "set up" so maybe my initial thoughts were incorrect. That said, if it is a genuine baqueville award I personally would not bother anyway. There is still a lot of contention as to whether they are wartime made pieces. Go for a definite known piece, they are not that rare. Leon.

From what i can see it is a badge that one could consider to be a "legitimate Bacqueville badge".

These badges have been discussed over and over again on every fora.

You either beleive in them as period originals or you do not.

Personally,not a badge i would have in my collection.
