Hi - Could anybody tell me what this is? It is too light and flimsy to have been an award, although it is about the right size. It had 4 mounting pins that were removed on purpose - I think. It is approx. 5 cm long. Thanks

I agree with the guys above. It's a wreath for the Luftwaffe Shooting Lanyard. You can see one in wear below, look to the left shoulder (as you look at the photo) and you will see the wreath at the top of the lanyard.
