This medal was on ebay and I tried finding out what it is. I tried translating it but had no luck. It looks like an austrian mount but maybe its not. The guy had a silver and gold class of these. It sold for $5 or 6 bucks.

It's a Austrian medal but i can't tell u the age of it.
It says: Kameradschaftsbund ... für besondere verdienste

|
This is the gold one
cheers,
Me again
This ribbon doesnt belong to this medal and it's for sale for €12 so don't pay to much It is for someone that has worked for 40 years for this "bund"
here's a link for you to look at
ÖKB - Sammlerorden.at
cheers,
Thanks fr the reply! So it has something to do with the "Austrian fellowship alliance" and on the back "FOR SPECIAL SALARIES" I wonder if it is military or civilian?
Oh what color is the ribbon supposed to be?
It'll be most likely to be civilian because there are special ones for the army
I believe salaries is not the right word for it... i think it has to say FOR SPECIAL SERVICES..
cheers,
the ribbon has to be green and white
cheers,
p.s. the gold one has a red and white one
I was wrong there are also medals available with red/white stripings here's a picture.
These where issued untill the 90's so it could be possible it's from the war but i'm not sure about that.
will search for more info.
cheers,
damn... wrong picture...
