Came across this quite small stick-pin, offered as a Reichswehr piece 1934. It could be Reichswehr, but as late as 1934 I'm not so sure. On the back is the maker's mark "Hoffstätter -Bonn" Any help appreciated.

It looks period Alec. The maker is Ferdinand Hoffstadter Bonn a. Rhein who had the PKZ No 8. Other than that I can't help you much.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
