Unknown Third Reich Era - Award, Medal, Plaque

Attached are photos of an unknown 3rd Reich era award, medal, or plaque.

Perhaps someone out there might know exactly what it is and for what it was awarded.

I have no idea what this is, so I can't help with identifying it, but I find it very hard to believe it is from the Third Reich era.
What kind of metal is it?, or is it metal at all?

man thats not a medal in the pictures it looks like a real ribbon and a photoshop image stuck to it! i am in no way saying you dont get a medal like that but that picture dont look like any kind or real metal medal does it? maybe just me

As I search for my own stuff I come across this kind of thing all the time. When I do I post it here in a way that, if someone else out there Googles it, then it will hopefully show up in the top 5 or so Google return "hits" at Warrelics.eu

I can't just always post FAKE, FAKE, FAKE!!! in the title as that won't do anyone any good when they search for a similar item via Google.

In this case, your guess is as good as mine...beats the hell out of me...never seen anything like it. However, it's listed on a "high-end" dealer's website as genuine Third Reich era!

Someone's idea of a fantasy piece is my best guess.

it looks like an old spanish ship on the ribbon. but i have no clue what it is.

hi the suspension ring at the top looks like a west german medal i have the ribbon on mine is the same shape but is half yellow and half blue regards duncan

The only thing that relates to HKP 511 is:
Heereskraftfahrpark 511 a forced labour camp related to the Kriegsmarine.
So the numbers are right, the ship is right.... the medal!? Wrong in my opinion!
