    This is potentially my latest addition.
    A silver wound badge with a maker mark 107 on the back under the pin.
    Does all seem well???
    As I am not an expert on wound badges any feed back will be most appreciated!

    Hi Adrian, we have a pinned thread at the top of the forum on maker marks if you need to know the manufacturer.

    "107" is Carl Wild of Hamburg.

    Their Wound badges are always marked with the number in cartouche fashion. The badges can come with "cast in" hinges or ones fitted separatly.

    I agree,Ade summed it up nicely. I'm not sure which type of hardware is rarer. But Carl Wild's are nice SWB's. Were they all zinc? I know yours is,but i'm not sure about the other variant. I think it was too. Stewy
