Why would they do that? It seemed pretty heavy in hand, like it was silver. It was also counterstamped on the reverse. (it also had a screw back).

I would like to see some MUCH better photos of the item in question - fantasy or not, it would give us better insight. And fakers will fake anything with a swastika on it regardless of these items really existed, trust me.

Dimas might be spot on with this item being a fantasy design - I do not have a clue. It would be interesting with some obverse shots and especially some reverse shots, if only to pass the time
