wierd looking KVK 2. klasse. fake?

Hi guys, i found this KVK in a local swap meet, it looks wierd but since it was 15 bucks i grabbed it anyways. it didnt have a ribbon and the suspension ring, so i put a replacement suspension ring and a ribbon i had laying around. The suspension is really thick and looks abit sloppy to me. I would think that since the KVK 2nd class isnt really rare it might cost to produce a fake as much as simply buying an original.
so i was wondering what do you guys think,

It does look like the suspension loop is a replacement...........

Nope, the suspension ring is original. There are many different shapes and sizes of suspension ring, some are moulded in with the cross, some are attached afterwards. This one is fine.
