WW2 Kreiegsmarine minesweeper badge type 5 LM markings. I think the LM markings are Lind and Meyer. There is also dark blue fabric on the back of it which is quite interesting.

This looks like an original badge with a missing catch by 'LM' - possibly Lind & Meyrer of Idar Oberstein.
Can you post any more photos John - with better light, showing the finish? You don't see these badges too often and it would be good to have some decent pics for future reference.
