My favourite item, that I have in my collection:
Ehrenkreuz der Deutsche Mutter Dritte Stufe - Mother's Cross 3rd Class (Bronze).

(I think that... after the death of the first child in combat, with heartbreak, German mothers stopped using these crosses)

    Regards.,

    Von River

    Hello all,

I love the EK_2 that started the thread, and the Cobourg badge is up there, as well as the EK_2 ribbon sewn by the Spaniard.

Playing along with the rules, I will post the most favorite badge in my collection.

Talking about the stuff I posted above?
Probably should have quoted because i was talking to a guy who wnated to buy one of those Expensive late war awards. You know, the big golden star with the swastika on it... cant remember.

I keep an eye on these things, I'd say 2-2,500 euro is the going rate. Too much for me at the moment but one night I'll be drunk enough then BAM! Deutsche Kreuz in Gold I'll have!
But... will you be sober enough to spot a fake?

I think there was no more than a 20 of them produced

What was it used for? To me it just looks like a big sniper scope

This is my favorite so far, and may remain for some time. I just like the look of these badges. It also has some initials scratched into the back(I think??).
