My favourite item, that I have in my collection:
Ehrenkreuz der Deutsche Mutter Dritte Stufe - Mother's Cross 3rd Class (Bronze).

(I think that... after the death of the first child in combat, with heartbreak, German mothers stopped using these crosses)

I love the EK_2 that started the thread, and the Cobourg badge is up there, as well as the EK_2 ribbon sewn by the Spaniard.

Probably should have quoted because i was talking to a guy who wnated to buy one of those Expensive late war awards. You know, the big golden star with the swastika on it... cant remember.

I keep an eye on these things, I'd say 2-2,500 euro is the going rate. Too much for me at the moment but one night I'll be drunk enough then BAM! Deutsche Kreuz in Gold I'll have!
