Here's a chance to post your favourite medal or combat award.
We all have items in our collections that are particular favourites so let's see them. It doesn't have to be the biggest, most expensive or flash, just the piece that you like the most, the piece that brings a smile to your face - for whatever reason.
So, post your single most favourite item and tell us why!

I'll kick off with mine, a humble EK2. It's an unmarked K&Q which has had the ribbon turned into a ladies style buttonhole mount with a silver monogram attached to it. It's my favourite because of the unknown story behind it. I look at it and wonder who mounted it this way and why? A wife or mother whose son or husband had been killed and they wanted to wear his EK to remember him by perhaps? Is it the fallen soldier's initials adorning the bow?
I'll never know but it always makes me wonder.

but at least i can express my opinion.

Its the only medal I actually have, but its also my favorite one too its just the look of it and whats on it that does it for me, its got the helmet, the stick grenade, eagle and the swastika.

I love the items you've shown, they're very nice! My favorite item is my early Neusilber Juncker Panzerkampfabzeichen. Most of it's silver wash is still intact. I hope you like it too

Hello Adrian ! My favourite item is this EK2. Someone has done their job badly and now the solder seams are loose. I can see the two sides of the frames. Looks like an unfinished cross ! I am not going to fix it, it remains as it is. By the way, I am interested in the opinion of a specialist. What do you think about the cross, who is the author ? Send more pictures soon. enni
