It looks like an original Souval badge. These are always a little tricky because they were made very late in the war and the quality is very poor compared to other examples by other makers. The ejector pin marks on the reverse are a good sign as are the die flaw lines. The wear looks consistent also. I'm not sure about the catch, most examples I've seen have the catch attached to a small round plate, I can't see it on this badge.
I wouldn't pay more than €200 max for one of these badges and would be looking more towards €150.

$100? well done. Of course the lack of the gold paint reduces the price very much. But it's a nice example anyway
