Looks like the 'trench reverse' variation.
It was awarded to veterans of WW2 so I'd suspect it was sold and made it's way to the seller via normal routes.
Worth about US$30 on a good day, but a nice solid award. Worth having one or two in one's collection.

Hi guys;
I have a 1985 issue 2nd class...high number 5773084 screwback with bumps. I understand that some of these were Gilt Silver, so value is more than just plain .925 silver.
