I think it does beg to be researched I don't have one of these yet but it is an item I too would like to find one day.
Thanks for showing it. I am looking forwards to seeing your other new buys too.
The main problem I have is research costs more than Orders so I keep on buying more stars!
I'm pretty thrilled at the new arrivals on the way, I took a bit of a chance buying from just this picture to go by...
So far so good. The seller has posted them in smaller lots in order to not get collared by the local authorities
I am in the same situation as you! But I am going to have to start putting some money aside for research as I do love any researched item.
You did well on buying like that. Your contact is doing the right thing.
I have friends in Moldova / Ukraine and I've asked them to look into research for me. Naturally I have got my fingers well and truly crossed that it will turn out to be a simple process to get information from the Federal archive...
Another nice addition.
I agree, a 1945 award.
nice example ! its difficult to read one number , i see 161?573
It is 1 412 573 , it does require a serious look with a loupe, I thought it was a 6 at first.
Ade, there's a huge range in the 1945 year group isn't there? It will be great to get this researched (as would they all..)
1945 was a good year for these
