    Default Badges For The Construction Of The Moscow (L. M. Kaganovich) Subway

    In this theme I will show one example of each of these beautiful badges for the three different stages of construction.

    The badges were awarded to senior engineers, administrators and communist party bosses that supervised the construction, as well as NKVD officers that guarded the laborers. Sadly, during this time it was common to use slave labor. It is noted that the stage built in 1944 "employed" many German POWs.
