    The original one.
It could be handed in postwar period too, and at the military registration office as well.
But of course this type is not called a “voenkomat” variant.

In my location the such are in sale for $180-230.
In your corner of the world, I think, will be a bit more expensive. Maybe 300? ...400? The condition, by the way, is very pleasant.

    Thanks Molodes

The seller is asking $300, I may try and get it for less

Is the ribbon holder original ? ( Sorry I cannot remember the correct term for it ) I thought the ww2 examples were made from brass ?

    Cheers

Wartime suspensions were either made of brass or steel; this is a steel one. The ribbon seems to be old and possibly wartime as well.

The ribbon holder is called a suspension ("kolódka" - in Russian). Yes, it's genuine and corresponds to medal variant.
Different T1 medals have different suspensions of slightly different construction and made of different metals.
It’s very good that the suspension's ring has kept its original soldering. Often happens that it is broken (was cut).

    ... I'm late.

Cheers for the info, you mention this is steel, I always thought they were Alu, I assume this is stainless steel then hence no corrosion?

Stainless probably, yes. Aluminum suspension only started being used in the late 1940s (the Soviets had severe aluminum shortages during the war). You should compare this one with a postwar order's suspension; this suspension is much, much heavier.

I'm not an expert on Sevastopol Medals by the way, but this one looks good and it seems to be in above-average condition.
