Awarded to active participants for no less than 3 years distinguished labor in the construction of the Baikul-Amur Railroad. Awarded for distinguished labor at construction sites; and for excellent planning in the supply of materials to work sites. The Baikul-Amur Railroad Main Line stretches for 4300 km. Construction began in 1974 at opposite points and were finally connected on 29 September 1984, a full one-year ahead of schedule. It is made of brass. Approximately 69,000 were issued."
