Document for "Victory over Germany", first option.
Hello,
This is the first variation of the document for the medal "За победу над Германией в Великой Отечественной войне 1941-1945 гг". According to some sources, this was the first type issued to partecipants of the first Victory Parade in Moscow.
This document was issued to Kalyn Vasily Yakovlevich, гв. инженер-подполковниk (Guards Lieutenant Colonel) of 5 гв. бак ПрибВО (5th Guards Bomber Aviation Corps). His medals and Orders were:
Орден Красной Звезды (Red Star)
Орден Отечественной войны II степени (OGPW II)
Орден Красного Знамени (Red Banner)
Орден Ленина (Lenin)
Медаль «За оборону Кавказа» (Defence of Caucasus)
Медаль «За победу над Германией в Великой Отечественной войне 1941–1945 гг.» (Victory over Germany, of course )
Медаль «За взятие Кенигсберга» (Conquest of Koenigsberg)
Медаль «За оборону Сталинграда» (Defence of Stalingrad)
The document, issued the 20 june of 1945, was signed by his Commander at the time: Sandalov Vladimir Aleksandrovich, Герой Советского Союза (6.06.1942) (Hero of the Soviet Union), Генерал-майор авиации (4.02.1944) (Major General of Aviation).
