    Short, concrete description of his feat of arms or merits:

    During the fighting with the German occupiers comrade Kushmanov repeatedly took part in combat missions, during which he successfully carried out his assignments.

    Without regard for the difficulties and unfavorable conditions he faces, comrade Kushmanov does everything that is required to hasten the defeat of the abhorrent enemy. While carrying out orders to fortify defensive sector K, comrade Kushmanov exceeded the productivity norms by 50-100 percent. Through his honorable and exceptionally proficient labor, he inspires his comrades to work with great prowess.

    Comrade Kushmanov deserves the Medal for Combat Merit.

    Hello Ade, Nice early medal, Although the suspension is not 'as issued' who can say when it was replaced. there seems to be a fair bit of age to it and there is no reason to believe that it wasn't replaced by the veteran. In my opinion it doesn't detract from the medal at all.
