Thanks a lot Dom and Bill! So the Volgograd anniversary pin is for the rebuild of the city after the war? Or is this one completely seperate from that? Can't find any info on this unfortunately.

That is 20th anniversary of “Volgogradgidrostroy”, not the Volgograd city itself.
Volgogradgidrostroy before 1953 (Stalin’s death) was called Stalingradgidrostroy.
That is (still exists and functions) a production and construction company, which was created in 1950 for the construction of Stalingrad Hydroelectric Plant: Volga Hydroelectric Station - Wikipedia
Such organisation in Stalin times almost always “cooperated” with GULAG penitentiary system. Stalingradgidrostroy had 2 GULAG camps, which supplied work force.
