Hero of Socialist Labor for review

I came across this Hero of Socialist Labor medal for sale, and was hoping to get some thoughts on its authenticity. I haven't been able to track down much information on identifying fake vs. authentic versions of this order, but from what I can see, it looks like the look connecting the star to the ribbon is too cheap and the loop at the top of the star is too flat on the back. There also seems to be an elevated area where the serial number is located, which I've not seen before, and the reverse of the star is quite smooth, rather than slightly stippled like I've usually seen. Is there any chance this is an authentic Hero of Socialist Labor medal, or is this a definite fake as I suspect?

I am not experienced with these orders but everything I see screams fake to me! Look f.e. on the boxed outline around the serial # and as you say connecting ring.

I agree with Marcel. The Connection Ring seems fake, and I don’t think the serial numbers had a boxed outline.

Thank you both for the comments. I tend to agree and the more I look at the piece, the more convinced I am that its a reproduction, and not a particularly good one at that. I think the connection ring, elevated serial number base and the flat back to the loop attached to the top of the star all seem to strongly point that way.
