Lenin medal

Hi Guys, this is one I had from Nick.

This medal came in three versions: a military issue, a labour issue and a rare version issued to foreigners. The one I illustrate here is the most common, the labour issue (11 million issued)

It is maker marked on the ring and on the back of the suspension plate, there with a letter "M".

Hi Pierre, they are still very cheap to buy as they are so common. You will find them for $4.99 on E Bay.

But the rare foriegn issue, of which they only made 5000, commands a high price. But I don't know how much exactly? But expect it to be over $1000.

This´s the labour and military issue with document, Unfortunately the rare version to foreigners is very expensive, because only 5.000 were issued, the price is around 800/1,000 euros.
