Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad

I am potentially going to buy the below medal for the defense of Stalingrad. I just wondered if any of you could give guidance on whether you think this is a real medal or if it screams fake.

It looks real to me except for te raised cloud above the flag which I am not to sure about.

Hi Guy, given that the medal is broken and lacking it's suspension ring, I would not advise anyone to buy it. Never buy items that are in poor condition.

Sadly the scans are no where near good enough for me to give an opinion on.

Here is mine as well... I dont like the details on the top one. That cloud above the flag is weird looking.

For some reason, the detail on the lower part of the medal(the lower flaps of the tunics) is not showing very well. Is there a way to adjust the light reflection in the scanner?

Actually, if you can get the broken one really cheap, it might be worth it, just a "pocket bling".
