I cannot comment on whether or not the medals are authentic... I may be way off, but the price seems incredibly high, especially considering that the medals are attached to post-war ribbon suspensions...
Ok... I take back my original assumption.
Defense of Odessa medal is being listed here at $850:
Collect Russia Medal for the Defense of Odessa, Variation 1, 1940s. Soviet Russian
If both medals you posted turn out to be real, 350euro may be an ok deal afterall...
Hi Gizmo8Z
Of course, the problem is not when it was the medal of Odessa were fabricated only 38,000 and 52,000 of Sebastopol

Hi
Both medals are fake , Sevastopol and Odessa are very rare .
I bought a German antique shop and I have a 30 day warranty because they claim they are original. So I wanted to know whether or not original.
And of course they are rare, so they have that price. I have to say I've seen other products in this shop I do know well and are 100% original
350 euro is a good price, but medals are bad. Return them if you can
this is the seller's response
"I Have bought this ones during 1990 (from the soviet Army) and at that time copies do not exist"
Fake indeed. Even in the 90s there were forgeries. The ones you have are actually quite poor fakes, so they might have been produced in the 90s... Current-day Odessa forgeries are often extremely accurate.
