    My first research has arrived and I'd like to share it with you .

    Order of Glory 3rd Class number 58037

    Awarded to senior sergeant Vladimir Ivanovich Anohin on May 16th, 1944.
    Born 1912. In the Red army since 1943.

    Anohin served as a commander of a 45mm gun, 1382nd Rifle Regiment, 87th Rifle Perekop Division.

    The recommendation:

    07-05-1944 at the outskirts of the city of Sevastopol', Crimean ASSR Comrade Anohin direct fired his gun destroying a wood-earth firing point and two heavy machineguns of the enemy.
    For exemplary performance of combat tasks of the command at the front of the struggle with German invaders and showing during this courage and valour Comrade Anohin is worthy of the Governmental Award Order "Red Star".

    Found some new information today, that wasn't available in 2018 when I posted this award.

    It turns out that sr. sergeant Anohin was killed in action on January 28th, 1945 on the western outskirts of Vecvagari, Latvia. He was buried in a mass grave in Priekule, close to the harbour city of Liepāja (Libau) and the Lithuanian border.

    Always nice to complete a story, even when it is a tragic outcome like this.
