Dim, if you do not mind, please, will you provide general translation from both? I am able, but it is a very time consuming process for me.

In any case, this badge should certainly not be "written off" just yet...

Greatly appreciated is the input from ALL the members of these multiple forums, who have contributed their time addressing this subject...

Sammler. ru is more competent on the badges and awards, that is my IMHO, the peoples is fifty-fifty about the originality, also they ask to make a pictures from the side. But I'am sure about this badge, nice and rare

I will take some additional photos for the 50% experts.

Today I was looking at the badge for markings. There are none that I could see. The star is very convex - not flat.

I don't remember exactly when I got the badge - mid 1980's - and maybe it was DM 35 at the time...$20 ...but probably less.

The threads concerning this badge on WW2 and Форумы - SU forums continue to develop.

It is indeed a wonderful thing that forums are able to interact... However, for me this is the first time I have seen Russian language and English language forums interacting...

Dim, did you post a theme on sammler.ru ?
