Hello,
Could somebody tell me if there is a serial number engraved in the medal or it's just writen on with blue colour pencil.
I don't know so much about Russian engravings.
Thanks in advance :-)

It should be engraved. Not written on. 1985 re-issue.
Cheers, Ade.

It's a genuine set issued to Ivan Timofeyevich Vikhlyayev, although it appears from your photographs someone did indeed fill in the rotating tool engraving with blue ink or colored pencil.
That's what I also thought, someone filled in the engraving. I first thought it was just written on the medal but the engraving is filled in with ink.
55 euro's for the set. Worth it in this condition?
Thanks in advance.
It's more than I would pay given current market conditions.
€55 is too much. Millions of these were issued. €25-30 is more realistic.
Yes,€55 is too much. That's why I didn't buy it. Some people really ask crazy prices.
