That's actually a different book, published a few years ago by Azad Huseynov. The image from the first post is from the older book on Guards Badges by B.V. Airapetyan.

Picture in original post is from Айрапетян and in that text is 2.1
See original post, it is number 22 in Huseynov.
I have both books, so no worry there, looking for 'additional' photos.
Huseynov is a good reference, he has identified 4 more 'versions' in a magazine article.
The book is not expensive and a good start. Wish there was more photos. Would be nice to have a detailed 'versions' thread by his book on here.
These are the four new 'versions' from the magazine article, but you should get the book to understand more.

And again, if anyone has foto of Айрапетян 2.1 or Huseynov 22 different from the text, can you post? Huseynov has one for sale on his site not, but damaged.

Considering the design of the badges as well as the dimensions, difficult to see a manufacture шмз / нкпс as indicated in the B.V. Airapetyan book.
