Some of my Soviet medals

Hi I thought it was time for me to post some of my medals and contribute to the site. I have been collecting russian medals, badges and other Soviet militaria for a number of years now. Some of the russian collections on this site are fantastic, so here are some examples from my modest collection. I think this is a great and invaluable site to any collector and I thank all the guys that give up their time to maintain this site.



This is my order of Labor Glory, which I believe is a type 2 variant.



and this is my Valiant Labor medal which I believe is a type 2 variation 2.

I have been using the Soviet Awards page to identify my medals, which I find is an excellent reference guide.


I will post more medal pictures as I do them.

the first one is correct type 2 , the second one is Тип 2, Вариант 4 ( type 2 variant 4 )
