Default Soviet Army Proficiency badges, 1st, 2nd and 3rd class.

Hi Guys, three new additions to my collection.

This badge was introduced in the mid 1950's. These are nice earlier issue examples in gilded brass and enamel with screwback fittings.

Later issues from the 1970's onwards were in cheap bright alloy and were pin back.

    Cheers, Ade.

I have a 1st class enamel one like you have shown so you have answered a question about how old it is for me, thank you.

These 50's /'60's examples are quite nicely made. I have a couple of the later issues too. I will take some pics and post them up.

    Cheers, Ade.

Hi Dom, very nice! Thanks for adding it here.

I have just been very kindly given a first class award in the later alloy style. Pics to come.

    Cheers, Ade.
