Please forgive my ignorance for these doubts I raise. If possible, I wanted to ask you about this Ussr Bravery medal and document.

From what I've read in the forum, it could be authentic. Do you think is authentic and made in WWII? And if so, what would be the reasonable price that I as a buyer should pay?

Any WWII Bravery medal would have a much smaller price in case it was sold without the document?

    Thank you in advance.

Original wartime medal, still with original suspension.
Of course price without document is less. It is the document that makes the medal come to live because with the name you can find lots of info already.

Nice medal as Marcel points out; $30-50USD by itself.
The document is relatively very rare; usually we see the soldier's post-war medals or service record booklets if there is any documentation included with an award or group. I can't remember if I've ever seen one of those booklets and would guess that fact would, at least, double the price.
It would be interesting to input the soldier's name at Povignaroda to possibly confirm the two go together.

edit: Name "никопай" returns nothing. I probably have the spelling wrong.

    Thank you very much.

In my opinion, this medal, medal for combat merit and the "defense" medals are the most beautiful.

    Good medal!
But I cannot find neither him nor his BM citation.
This means the research should be done through archive...

Can you use a 'wild card' (I think it's called) on Podvignaroda? Like "никоп*" for "никопай" ?

His name is formatted differently in this style of Order Book, which is a scarce specimen. His name as it is written appears to be Baboshka, Nikolai Evtikhevich (Бабошка Николай Евтихъевич).

    That is НИКОЛАЙ, not “НИКОПАЙ”.
I tried to search in different way but got nothing.
