perhaps
but Very Likely a Long Service medal issued on 3.11.1944
you will not know 100% until you have it researched.

An original and yes, the soldier can be tracked down, but only through research. Both Auke and Egorka, both here on the forum offer research service so get in touch with them!
Ps. it does look like the letters CCCP have a new paint. Not a problem since this happened all the time. Though some only want completely untouched, unaltered medals in their collection.
Hey Marcel!
Thank you so much for the information that soldier can be tracked!
The problem is...I quite don't know where to submit the post.
Could you please tell me where can I find them?
Hello Jose,
Here on the forum when going through some of the threads you will find posts by both Egorka and Auke. If you send them a message they can do research.
Auke can also be reached here: Research service
I'll repeat, this is likely a long service medal.....for 10 years of service.
so while you will never know until it is researched, it is a fair amount of money to invest in this particular item given its value, just want to point out.
Here are some known examples near yours, and those without a reason are likley long service too, as they were made on the same date.....

It is indeed most likely a long-service award. I use among others Auke's list: Soviet long-service awards (1944–1957)
It is an investment to get research done yes, especially for a long service medal. However, it could trace back to a soldier with an interesting carreer! Only research will tell.
