No , if you mean long service. It's a pure combat award. O well I have seen one awarded to a brave cook , but it's a king valour to manage to feed solders under the rapid enemy fire

It's original, and indeed probably a 1945 combat award. Quite a few of these were awarded for wounds received during the war (mostly in the 3.3 mil serial number range), but with your serial number I think you're safe.
