I have no idea what this badge is but I purchased it because the detail was just so good and it was inexpensive. I figure it is a repro but does anybody know what it is? I am pretty new to WWII Russain militaria. Thanks!

Hi , this is a great looking badge. you have thare.i... have not seen before..looks early 1930's,,,the outside desisn is the same as the early sports awards...i'm sure one of the soviet experts may help....( how much was it not that it realy matters,, great piece)
History shows that there are no invincible armies.
Joseph Stalin
It appears to replicate the BT series of tank that was produced 1932-1941. So darrenj40's guess is most likely correct with regards to timeframe. Neat badge, for sure.
And just noted the "gear" ring. Might have been a mechanics badge of same.
Thanks for the ideas on the badge everybody. I only paid 35.00 dollars for it so I didn't really care if it was original or a replica because I thought it would display very nice with a WWII Soviet display I am creating. Appreciate the information!
Yep Looks like a Russian BT.
Regards to all, Simon.
