Dr. Clinton Bradford Herrick, it appears, was the president of the New York Society of the War of 1812.

he is in the procedural minutes of one of the meetings. see "Proceedings of the Biennial Meeting of The Society of The War of 1812" for the year 1910.

You can find anything on GOOGLE,you should be able to research your medal through the society......Pete. Already done I see.

he's in the combined volume 8-12 on page 20, last paragraph.

i would cut and paste if i could.

probably the guy died and eventually his medal ended up in the dump.

the meeting at which he was present and spoke took place in Plattsburgh, New York on June 25th, 1910.

Guys did a little research on the info you guys gave me and found out that he was first a vice president and then president of his chapter. Also he was a docter for the D&H rail road . Thanks for the help. It's funny how one little bit of info can lead you to so much more. Gary
