Hiya, here is a grouping to a lady named Mary Kinnings. She served in the ATS in Belgium in 1945 as a telephone switchboard operator.

It is a nice complete group with her decorations and some insignia and personal items, along with her photo album.

Ade and I both think she added the 1939-45 Star to the group herself! The ribbon bar does not have it nor does the photo of her wearing her medals on parade after the war. Naughty!

The Art deco fob watch is American made and is inscribed with her's and maybe her boyfriend's initials and the date: "MAL/MK 30.3.42" Maybe he was a GI, hence the US made watch?

You will see the group has her Identity discs: not how one of the numbers was incorrectly struck. Other items include a Sterling silver ID bracelet: enamel stick pin of the British Troops in France shoulder flash: a sweetheart badge: her Royal Corps of Signals badge as seen on her breast in the photo: cap badge and brass shoulder titles.

    Cheers, Lez.

Here is the photo album and a few views of the contents. All the photos date from 1945. One of her uniform removed shoulder flashes is glued to the cover. There are lots of pics of places she visited including Waterloo.

I wish I had the leather jerkin with all the patches sewn on it that she wears in a couple of the pics.

In the big group photo she is 3rd from the left.
