British crown ??????

Picked up a nice black leather medal ? box today,can anyone give me any info on the gold crown on cover of box? Thanks Dave H

Hi Dave, all I can say is that it does appear to be a British "Kings Crown" pattern.

Can you show us the whole box ?

I'm quite positive it is for the silver 'GRVI' British/Canadian
'Memorial Cross' for mothers and widows.

The material on cover is black leather ? with gold crown,interior is a cream color.
