Bronze star medal named information

Hello i recently bought this Bronze Star and it is named, i am assuming it is post war maybe Vietnam, is it possible i can research this name anywhere to find out any information on the recipient William P. Bianco.

Thanks for the info, i did find the same name from the same area and it stated he died in 1996. Is there any way to read actual service records?

Some others here may know. I think Ancestry.com could provide some of that information.
