Can anyone help with this medal/medallion

Hi

Although this pre-dates WWII by quite some time, I was wondering if anybody
has seen one of these medal/medallions before or knows if it is rare/valuble or were they given out like sweets at a kids party.

It was in with my late fathers medals and other WWII memorabilia.

It would appear to have been issued by the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts to commererate a visit by the Honourable Artillery Company of London in 1903.

I have tried to contact both organisations, without sucess yet, so wondered if any forum members could shed anymore light on it
