Been slow for the past month. Picked this up at a local show. Not rare but NIB and cheap. Probably sat in a draw for the last 70+ years.

A US WW2 EAMA Campaign Medal by Medallic Art Co.

Photos are a bit washed out due to LED lights and don't have the time to take proper photos but the award has a nice bronze wash.

Same award as our friend Avenger...His photos are much better...see here

Very crisp details, nice to see them in the original boxes. Agree it most likely sat in a drawer for the past 70 years. Smitty

Thanks guys. Here and there I've been slowly and opportunistically adding US Awards. One day I'll complete the collection.

Your off to a great start. Many different manufactures of these medals as well. I am fond of the US Mint made medals myself. Smitty.

Well so far I have 2 DSC's, 2 bronze Stars, a Silver Star, this EAME, a Victory Medal and a few Purple Hearts. Just need a few more campaign awards, a DFC and a Navy Cross and I'll call it a day....

Well...I do have a WW2 POW badge but these weren't awarded until the 1980's. So technically....I do collect post war

Saw it as a local show a few months back. It was part of a small grouping. You can see in the link below
