    Dan a very nice addition to any collection . You can't far wrong collecting the GSM. I think there 20 odd bars/clasps & 7 GSM's 3 Navy & 4 Army/Navy/RAF.. ER II has to types one rarer than the other I did read that somewhere can't remember where??. Thanks for showing. Cheers Terry.

    It is named to R.A.French, he was in a tank regiment.
    Would be nice to see yours Robin.

    Beautiful Steve, great that you kept it.
    I find it sad many vets/their family sold their medals.
    Makes me wonder what happened to the guy on my medal.

    I also have my original diaries kept on both tours, ID tags, beret and 13 troop T shirt I last wore on patrol in New Lodge - October 1974. Other items are my range score card when training before deployment to Ireland, all my photographs I took on my last tour, 'wanted' cards, yellow card, blue card - people who served there will know what these are... And no son to leave them to!

    As for your medal. My service number began 241. That equates to a '69' intake. That will give you an idea when I was there. Numbers starting '242' were probably late 70's

    Mine starts 2414 so I assume he was 69/70
