Default History Lost Almost Part 3

Here is the third group I mentioned earlier. While not as exciting as the first two it is still a group worthy of keeping together. It is of a father and son who were both West Point Military Academy graduates and for a brief time served at the same time during WW2 circa 1942 as shown in the photo of them in thier pinks and greens.

This group was obtained via ebay. I had been searching for a Legion of Merit medal and after winning this one and talking to the seller, the daughter of Pratt Jr. I was able to aquire the rest of the things she had. She had no desire to keep these items but was pleased that they would be staying together.

    Col. Raymond S. Pratt Sr.
    West Point Class of 1902
    WW1 & WW2 Veteran
    Commander 18th Field Arty 1-22-1919
Commander 3rd Div. Field Arty. 7-12-1919
    ARC-FA AEF/AFG WDGS 1927-1931
    CS4AR 9CA 1936-1940
Retired 1941 and recalled to active duty 1942-1943

His medals include the Spanish American War Medal, WW1 Victory Medal w/France bar and Sons of the American Revolution Medal. I am sure he had more but this was all that was available to me.

Lt. Col. Raymond S. Pratt Jr.
    West Point Class of 1931
    WW2 & Korean War Veteran
    FAS 1942-1946 Ft.Sill, Okla.
    X02 Com Regiment 1947-1948
    Div. HQ EU/Com 1948-1949
    OG 1 1949 KMAG 1952-1954
    Retired 1956
The only medal I have of his is the Legion of Merit Medal with the photo of him being awarded said medal. I do have all of his West Point memorabilia.
