    Hi, Adanac !

Some US medals were produced in great numbers during WWII and awarded
up until the Vietnam War. Plus, there are several different styles of
lettering/naming used over the years - through three wars.
Cross our fingers, and let it be a WWII era piece....!

I hope you can find some info on the man.......
    Regards,

    Steve.

I was hoping it was WW2 i was not 100% because this is the first time i have bought US Medals! I have a Small collection of Canadian ww2 medals.

The seller said they were ww2 collection that came into his store as a group of 5 Medals including the Bronze Star, American Campaign Medal with Ribbon Bar in Presentation Box, World War II Victory Medal with Ribbon Bar in Presentation Box, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with Ribbon Bar in Presentation Box, Army of Occupation Medal with Germany Clasp with Ribbon Bar in Presentation Box!

I used the link posted above to the National WWII Memorial and came up with a match to the name. only one direct match!

I need some advice of were to go from here! if all i have is a name and then get a match in the National Memorial archives were do i go from here!!
I Spent almost all night looking into this!

    Any help is great!

It can take some time I know !

The plastic box the Bronze Star is in, is from the Korean War era, I think,
and the blue boxes should have dates on the end labels..

Try U.S. enlistment records on-line and see what comes up.......

Did you pay much for them ?
    Regards,

    Steve.

If you paid under $100 for all, I think you did just fine !

I am pretty sure the plastic box is of the Korean War era.
If it bugs you, you can sometimes find empty WWII award boxes.

Try US National Archives - enlistment records.
